Progress stored in your browser

UCMI Learn does not require a learner account. When you mark an external resource or reviewed UCMI lesson complete, the site stores its identifier in local storage in this browser. For UCMI lessons, the identifier also includes the content version.

The learning interface does not send this progress to UCMI, Google, Supabase or Sanity. It does not sync between devices, and UCMI cannot restore it if it is removed.

Website requests and service providers

Vercel hosts the website and may process standard request and security data needed to deliver it, such as an IP address, browser details, the requested page and request time. Vercel controls its own technical logs and retention.

Sanity supplies reviewed educational content. UCMI does not intentionally send browser-only learning progress to Sanity.

Accounts, analytics and sales

The current learning experience does not use Google sign-in, learner accounts or a cloud learner database. UCMI does not use advertising analytics on this site and does not sell visitor data.

Your control

• You can read lessons without marking them complete.
• You can reset learning progress from the learning dashboard or clear this site's data in your browser settings.
• Private browsing, browser cleanup or changing devices may remove or separate your progress.

External links

The site links to external services such as Telegram and source websites. If you open an external link, that service applies its own privacy terms. UCMI does not attach your browser-only learning progress to those links.

Changes

UCMI will update this notice before introducing an account, cloud progress or another feature that changes how learner data is handled.
